Self Portrait vs Selfie
One of the main differences in self portraits and a selfie is that a self portrait is way more formal than a selfie. Also a self portrait shows something about the person in the photo, their hobbies, something the like, a sport they play, etc. while a selfie is mainly just for fun to post on social media and is a casual photo. I personally like self portraits better because of how they tell something about the person in the photo.
