Which photo do you like best? Why?
 - My favorite photo was the end. I liked how it was all gray, black and white but the two leafs were an orange/red and it made them sort of pop in a way.
Which is your least favorite image? Why?
  - My least favorite photo is yummy. I think the foil in the picture sort of takes away from the subject. I still think the composition of the photo and lighting is still really good but i would just take the foil out of it.
Overall, make two positive statements about their pictures.
  - All of her pictures were really good and  I really liked eight and the end. I think the lighting and composition of all of the photos were really good.
Overall, what is one area that this person could improve upon in your opinion.
  - I think she is taking really good pictures and has really good composition and lighting. If there was one thing I think she could improve on i think it would be not taking away from the subject in yummy.
Which prompt do you think they did the best portraying, from your perspective?
  - I think eight did the best portraying. I think this because it had the number 8 in it and it showed what the prompt was.
Which prompt do you think they did the least successfully portray, from your perspective?
  - I think pause did the worst portraying. I think this because it doesn't really show pause, you wouldn't look at the image and think pause.

5 Websites

Modeling- I learned that in modeling it is all about asymmetry instead of symmetry. I also learned that while posing your hands should always be relaxed and graceful.

1. I picked this picture because I thought it looked good. It looks like the models hands are relaxed and on the left side they look like they have good posture but not on the right side.
2. In this photo I see leading lines, and balance.
3. It doesn't say who took the photo.
video-
1. In the video I saw a girl posing for pictures. She kept on moving into new positions and they changed her makeup and outfits a lot.
2. The video was made by James Conran. He is married to the girl that was in the videos.
3. no summary
4. I learned that you have to change a lot when you are a model and that you have to do really weird poses sometimes.
Spiral Staircases-
On this website I looked at spiral staircases in abandoned buildings. I saw different pictures of them and learned about who took the pictures.
I learned that taking pictures of spiral staircases can be interesting especially in abandoned buildings.

3SussmanAntarcticMoss.jpg

In this website I learned about some of the oldest living things in the world. All of the living things on the website are 2000 years old or older.

I learned that all of these things are 2000 years or older.

I picked this photo because I liked the way it looked and how blues the ocean was. I also liked how all of the colors sort of go together, they are all a shade of blue or white.

In this photo I see balance and rule of thirds.

this photo was taken by Rachel Sussman.

What makes a killer Timelapse, With Joe Capra-
In this website I saw a video of a timelapse of Rio. I also saw Joe Capra's opinion on timelapse and how he made one.
I learned that timelapse can take a long time to make. I also learned that you have to find music that fits the place of the timelapse.

In the video i saw a timelapse of Rio.
The video was made by Joe Capra. On google I found that he has made many more timelapse videos for scientifantastic.
Making this timelapse Joe Capra got to go to places that not many people get to go. After making the video he had trouble with the music to go along with the video and how long the pictures should stay up before going onto the next one.
I learned that a timelapse is a bunch of different pictures put together to make a video. Also that it can take a long time to make a timelapse.
500px top photos of 2014-
On this website I saw 25 pictures of beaches.

2014

This picture of Shaun White is one of my favorites because I like how the board is bending and I like how it is an action shot.

This picture is one of my favorites because I like how you can sort of tell that the sun is setting by just looking at the picture and I like how the soccer balls are in mid air.

I like this picture because I like how the dancers made and eye with their bodies and I like how they used different colors to sort of show how the eye really is.

Taylor Swift
Blank Space
I picked this song because I think it is really catchy and i like it. I have also heard this song a lot and it has grown on me. Almost every time i got in the car this song would be on. I think this song was number one because it is really catchy and it was different from what Taylor Swift usually does and I liked how she changed it.

Divergent
I think Divergent was one of the best movies out of the ones I saw. I like this movie because it had a lot of action and it wasn't boring. I also like it because of how the main character Tris doesn't give up and even when she is injured she keeps going and doesn't give up. It also sort of reminds me of the Hunger Games which i really liked also.

Ebola
I think this is the most important news story of the year because of how serious it is. Ebola is a serious problem and it is very deadly. After Ebola got out all I heard people talking about in school was Ebola. I think Ebola is very serious and I think it was one of the most talked about things.

Jennifer Lawrence
I think Jennifer Lawrence is the most important person of the year. I think this because she has been in the Hunger Games. I think she is a really good actress and that the movie she is in really good. I think she is really good at archery also. I think a lot of people admire her and think she is a good actor.
Abby Wambach (#20)
I think Abby Wambach is the most important sports person of 2014. I think this because she is a really good soccer player. She is currently the highest all time goal scorer for the national team. She also holds the world record for international goals for both male and female. Abby Wambach is an amazing soccer player and makes a lot of goals by heading the ball.

About My Holiday
1. Something that I will remember about my holidays is that I got a camera for Christmas.
2. My resolutions for the new year are to get better grades.
3. In 2015 I am looking forward to meeting new people and the things I will do.
