Reflection
In the next year I would like my photos to tell more of a story. Right now my photos are more just a picture of something rather than a story so I would like to work on that. Something else I want to work on is making sure my photos are more in focus and clear. I really want to try new things with my photography as well. I would like to get out of my comfort zone and try things like steel wool and night photography. I also want to take pictures outside more instead of in the studio.
As of right now I don't think I want to get any interns for photography but maybe more in the future I will. I want to do photography more as a hobby instead of a career. I would like to maybe take pictures for family and friends.
Overall in the next year I would like to push my limits and try new things in the next year. I really want to experiment with different things and see what I can do. I don't plan on taking commercial photography next year again because I just want to do photography as a hobby.

1. David Hockney is from which country?
England
2. Which two types of artwork is he most famous for?
Pop art and photographic collages
3. What piece of art did he create after being told he would not graduate from art school
The Diploma
4. Where in the US did he move to?
California
5. In the 1980s he began creating what?
Photographic composites
6. What is one thing you like about Hockney's photos?
I really like how when he puts all of the photos together in a collage, a lot of them are imperfect.
7. What is one negative that you see in taking photos this way?
I think it would be kind of like a puzzle putting all of the photos together to create one giant image.
8. Does using your phone make this process easier or harder?
I think it would make it a little easier because you can look in your album right after taking the photo to make sure you got the right area of the subject and you can make sure it all fits together.
9. Which subject would you like to use for your Hockney-inspired collage?
I would like to use a landscape for my collage.
England
