Sculptured House, USA

      Charles Deaton
2. When was it built?
      It was built in 1963
3. Where is it located?

      It is located on a mountain in Jefferson county, Colorado  
4. Is it a private building or can you visit it?

      it is on private property so you cannot visit the actual house.
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build?

      there isn't anything on how much it cost to built but it does say that it cost $1.5 million.
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself?

     The building was featured in the 1973 movie called "Sleeper".
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)

     I picked this building because I thought it looked interesting. I also thought it looked and I   
wanted to learn more about it. I found out that it was is a movie called Sleeper and that it        was built in 1963 by Charles Deaton. I thought the inside of the building looked really cool too and I liked how it was colorful.

     yes you can visit it.

     I couldn't find anything on how much it cost to build it.

    The building was first on the list of the 50 strangest buildings in the world.
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)

    I picked this building because i liked the way it looked and thought it looked really cool and weird. I thought this building looked like it would be in a Doctor Seuss movie. I think it is cool that it is a shopping center, a restaurant and has offices in it. I thought this building was interesting and i wanted to learn more about it.

    Malmo, Sweden

    You can visit it, it has apartments and a lounge/spa area.
5. Is there information on how much it cost to build?
    it cost around $220 million
6. Is there a reason the building was created or the history of the building itself?
     it was selected as a landmark for the new development.
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)
    i picked this building because I thought it was cool how it was twisted. I also thought it was interested how it was called Turning Torso. I thought it was cool how it is the second tallest residential building in europe. I think the building looks really cool and it is really tall. I like how it has apartments and a spa.


Strong National Museum of Play

     it is located in Rochester, New York

      you can visit it.

    i could not find anything on how much it cost to build.

    the Strong National Museum of Play is devoted to play
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)
    I picked this building because I thought it looked and sounded interesting and fun. I think it would be fun to visit the museum and see what it is like. I thought it would be interesting to learn about it. On some of the reviews it said that is was just as fun as an adult as it is for a kid to go.

  it was built for the married couple, Roser Segimon and Pere Milà
7. Why did you pick this building? (write at least a paragraph on this question)
  I picked this building because i thought it was interesting and i thought it looked really cool. I thought it was interesting how it had holes and different sculptures on the roof. I wanted to know why is was built and other interesting things about this building. I thought it was really big, especially for a house. I learned that it was built for a married couple and that you can visit it but you have to make reservations to do it.
