A dog named “Leao” sits for a second
consecutive day at the grave of her owner, who died in the disastrous
landslides near Rio de Janiero on January 15, 2011.
-I choose this picture because I thought it showed how much a dog can love his owner and how much they can care about them.
- something in the composition of the photo that made me like the photo was how the photographer included the empty graves in the background and how she took the picture from and angle and not strait on.
- I think it got on the top 40 photos because it shows how much the dog cared about its owner and because of the angle she took the photo at.

- I choose this photo because I liked how the koala was drinking out of a water bottle and it showed how thirsty the koala was after the fire.
- something in the composition that I liked was how in the background there were trees and smoke. i also liked how the firefighter had ash on their face and clothes.
- I think it got on the top 40 photos because it shows what happens to the animals after a fire and how it had a good angle and trees and smoke in the background.

- In this photo I liked how it shows a lot of emotion and I liked the angle of the picture.
- I think this photo made the top 40 because it showed how much soldiers miss their family when they are gone and how happy they are to see them when they come back.
